Won't turn on unless the machine is plugged in all the time.

     Machine won't stay on unless it is plugged in.

    Battery is not staying charged.

    Won't update anymore unless you update the library. Not sure where to find that.

     Not sure which model MaxiSys, but you'll need to replace the battery (or run it only when plugged in).

    Be very careful opening it up - it's easy to rip the ribbon cables.  I had to replace the touch screen for someone who ripped the cable clean off when all he needed was a battery....

    It's the MaxiSys 906. And it's almost a year old and it needs a new battery?

    Should last longer than a year, but I guess it depends on how the battery was cared for and what temperature environment you use it in.

    Do not leave it plugged in and fully charging for days on end.

     Hi, yes almost a year old. Trying to get in contact with Autel and see where to send it.
